Non-Contact Vein-Recognition Biometrics
Biometrics refers to the quantifiable data (or metrics) related to human characteristics and traits. To date, the most common form of the study of measurable biological characteristics has been in computer security.
Answering a worldwide need from governments to the private sector, our "contactless" data collection biometric technology is a hygienic solution that uses near-infrared light to authenticate and identify an individual.
In addition to being non-contact and safe, our biometrics data collection technology encompasses multiple modalities, is scalable and flexible, and is extremely secure with a built-in anti-spoofing capability to prevent hacking.
Multiple modalities technology authenticates and identifies an individual by:
- Analyzing the vessels underneath the finger,
- Analyzing the fingerprint,
- Analyzing the vessels underneath the palm,
- Analyzing the palm print,
- Analyzing the unique geometry of the hand.
Our working prototype fits into the palm of your hand. The technology can be modified to fit into very small devices or large computers.
